Dowel Pins

The parallel Dowel pin is one of the oldest methods of locating and retaining two or more components of an assembly in fixed, relative positions.

It is reusable and provides the facility to take the assembly apart and reassemble precisely as before. The Dowel pin is precisely made and to achieve its full potential needs to be mated with an equally accurately produced hole.
