Pinstructure

The Series A85 Ball Pin is our own, considerably simplified (and hence much less costly) version of a device used extensively in the Aircraft industry, known as the ‘Quick release pin’, ‘Detent pin’, ‘Pip pin’ or ‘Ball lock pin’. This type of pin lends itself to a variety of uses generally associated with the necessity for fast release and relocation.

Can be produced in most materials, though our regular production is:

• Mild steel zinc plated, hardened steel balls with a nickel plated Split ring.
• Stainless steel with hardened steel balls with a nickel plated Split ring.
